More friends to bounce with.. Next time we will have to go and have a bounce on Abi and Emily's BIG trampoline. I don't think we will have any trouble fitting the four of us in there either..

pegs... eggs.. it all sounds the same!!

Today I was outside helping mum hang some clothes out to dry in the sun. Unfortunately we didn't have enough pegs so mum said that we would have to go inside and get some more pegs. So being the good little helper that I sometimes am, I ran inside straight to the fridge to pull out the container of eggs. CRASH!!! 12 eggs on the floor at my feet - how was I now going to carry the eggs outside to mum. With the crashing sound came mum and dad running to see what I had done. I was quite surprised when they both starting laughing.. You see, apparently mum wanted more pegs not eggs!!! Oh well, scrambed eggs for dinner.

the school fete

We love it when the schools in our area have fetes’ There are so many fun things to do like face painting, crazy hair, visit the animals in the petting farm, play on the school equipment and eat sausages and snow cones. Unfortunately today was very very hot so we didn’t get to stay and play as long as we would have liked to.. Oh well, there will be many more days to come when I will be able to play in the school yard!!

the new additions

No we do not have any more new little brothers or sisters to blog about, today we are blogging about our new fish!! Last week Amelia and I had to say good bye to Strawberry and Goosebunps (our bunnies). Our bunnies have been great pets but unfortunately we hadn’t been looking after them as well as we should and mum just doesn’t have time anymore to clean out their house. So being the brave kids that we are we let them go to stay at another little girls house. However, we do now have our own fish tank and 4 fish! They sit up on the shelves in the play area so that Amelia and I can watch them swim around and feed them when they are hungry. . Being the owner of fish is fun..

a sleep over

Here I am with my fairy suitcase all packed up and ready to go.. Tonight I am going to stay at Milla’s house for not one sleep over but two!!! I am so excited, I get to go to a teddy bear picnic with AJ’s school class and to watch Milla at circus on Saturday morning. Kinder friends

Today two of my kinder friends had birthday parties because they turned 4!! The first one was for Nicolas at a big play centre and traffic school. Even though only I was invited to the party, Dad, Zach and Nan & Pop came along to join in the fun. After a quick rest and wash at home it was then time to go to Jacqui’s fairy party. We all looked lovely in our fairy dresses and had lots and lots of fun playing fairy games and eating lots of fairy fun tastic food. Jacqui’s mum even painted our faces and guess what?? I won pass the parcel!! Parties are so much fun!! I wonder whose is next?

Daddy's holidays

While Daddy is on holidays he gets to come to lots and lots of fun places with Amelia and I. Today he took us to this groovy new kids hair dressers that I discovered while looking at Henry's blog. I got to sit in a jeep and Amelia got to sit on a motorbike while we got our hair cut. Oh, and we got to watch Thomas the Tank Engine as well!!! When we got home I think that mum was a bit surprised by how short my hair now is. However, I think that she was also a little relieved that it isn't quite as short as daddy's..

I LOVE it when friends come to visit and play on the trampoline with me.. Today Alex and his mum, Amanda, came over to meet Chase and to play with Zach and me. Amanda even came into the trampoline with Alex and I. I wonder when my mum will come in for a bounce??? She told me that she wasn't able to while Chase was in her tummy but now that he is out I think that she should have a go don't you???

My new hat

Today I was lucky enough to meet one of Amelia's bestest friends - Milla. Milla and her mummy came around to say hello to me and to have some lunch with my mummy. Milla brought us all gifts, including my new cold weather beanie!! After lots of cuddles with Del I was so tired out that I spent the rest of the time they were here in bed. Oh well from what I hear there will be plenty of time to hang out with Del and Milla and lots of adventures to be had.

Meet Chase

Last Wednesday our little brother Chase was born. However, it wasn't until the morning that we found out about Chase because Mum and Dad had gone into hospital very late at night while we were sleeping. Chase is so little and we both LOVE giving him lots of cuddles and kisses and helping out with his baths, nappy changes and anything else that we are allowed to do. After two sleeps in the hospital Mum and Chase came home. Before Chase came home he somehow managed to go shopping with Mum and Dad for a present for US! As you can see in the photos we love being able to take our own photos and driving around on the new car. Thanks Chase and welcome home!

Mum said that I definately look the part in this football uniform that Darren and Bec gave me for my birthday. They brought it back all the way from Paris (where ever that is??) just for me. Now all I need now is some boots and I guess some training.

There is certainly one advantage of not being able to use our bathroom - the amount of water we save!!! We told Dad & Mum today that they could take their time finishing off our bathroom. Having a bucket bath in the back yard sure is a lot of fun..

happy birthday to me

It seemed like christmas was only just over and surprise!!! another present waiting for me in the back room. Today was my 2nd birthday and upon waking nice and early I was showered in kisses and cuddles and given presents. My first present was from Nan & Pop (which Amelia helped me open) and then I noticed this big table wrapped up in newspaper. Once Amelia and I tore it off I discovered this great train table.. But that was not it. I opened the drawers and discovered a train track and lots of trains, cars and other stuff. Today was a special day for another reason - Amelia's first day at 4 year old kinder. So after saying goodbye to her mum and I set about setting up the train track. Unfortunately we were still going at this task when Amelia got home and then I even needed to have a nap before mum had finished putting it all together!! After an afternoon of playing trains it was time for some dinner and birthday cake! Amelia helped mum make the cake so it was extra special birthday cake. YUM!!

Mum has helped me put up some photos from my birthday and also from the party that I shared with my friend Olivia yesterday. Olivia is one whole day older than me so we decided to celebrate together. Two birthday cakes and 'happy birthday" songs to me in two days.. I sure am lucky!

While in Ballarat for the weekend Mum decided that it was about time for another haircut.. After enjoying a cino we dropped into this really cool place called "Cool Cuts 4 Kids". Mum thought that I may have liked to sit on her knee while getting my hair cut but I proved her wrong. Mum was so amazed that I sat still the whole time but what else would I do when there is a Wiggles DVD for me to watch? Also, I did happen to spot the huge container of lolly pops under the counter when I walked in and thought that if I did sit still I might get one.. I think that I will ask Mum for another hair cut when we visit Nanny again in Ballarat.

Bella's "funbugs" party

Last week our cousin Bella turned 5 and to celebrate she had a party at Funbugs! She got to sit in a big queen throne in the fairy room with her friends, eat jelly, chips, fairy bread and cake! Then after a game of pass the parcel it was time to play.. My little brother Zachary was so excited to be at Funbugs that he didn't eat cake - he was way too busy playing. He loved jumping in the balls the best and the big round trampoline.

Happy birthday Bella. We hope that you like playing with your toys and that your new pj's keep you nice and warm.

back into the renovations

We sure have been busy around here.. As soon as christmas was over we got back into our renovations.. The hallway was the next project and I'm very happy to report that Daddy and I finished about one week ago.. Now it's time for the bathroom to get a make over.. I hope that what Daddy has done to date is not what it is going to be like for good (photo below)
