up, up, up, DOWN

me and my friend Milla

the orange blinds

Recently mum and dad have been talking about getting new blinds for the back room. This makes me a little bit sad because I really like the bright orange blanket like blinds that we currently have. They make a great hiding spot and it is heaps of fun to uncover yourself, yelling BOO and scaring whoever is around.. I hope that we keep the orange blinds for a little while longer..

School fun

Did you know that I went to school the other day?? Mum, Dad and Zach came to school as well. There was face painting, hair colouring, nail painting, taekwondo, dancing girls, sausage sizzles, ice-creams, an animal farm and a playground.. Who knew that school could be so much fun?

discovering the zoo on foot

Yes I have been to the zoo many times before (way too many times to count) but today was the first time that I got to discover parts of the zoo on foot wearing my first pair of walking shoes. Walking around the zoo sure was fun although I got the feeling that mum would much rather me be in the pram. That way she can control which way I go and she is not turning around to go back the same way that she just came from chasing me.. I'm sure that the big sleep I had afterwards made up for it though.. Zach x

ikea fun..

Who knew shopping could be so much fun????

crazy cousins

Our cousins are sometimes a little crazy but we love them LOTS and we love going to their house to play!!!! Today we did lots of cool things like playing on the swings, dancing in Bella's room, playing "follow the leader", jumping on the trampoline, going through an obstacle course, drawing, playing shop and taking our babies out for some lunch. Unfortunately we didn't have time today to ride the go-kart but luckily we had an extra big ride the day before.

Ballarat festivals

Because we were in Ballarat on the weekend we missed out on the festivities of Moomba but we did get to the festival at Ballarat. After a long bike ride around to the festival we found the stand that we were looking for - the face painting!!! After waiting for what seemed like ages we finally got to the front of the line.

on our way back to the car we decided to go for a little walk on water; well we pretended to walk on water because there really isn't much water left to walk on.. Wonder if they can continue to call it Lake Wendouree when there isn't any lake??

a special day

Did you know that our mum and dad have been married for 5 whole years?? and do you know where they got married?? We do.. On Saturday while we were on our way to Ballarat we detoured to a place called Daylesford. At Daylesford we visited the Convent Gallery and while doing so we recognised a few things from the photos that we have at home. The Convent Gallery was very lovely but for some reason we don't remember having been there before and seeing all of the lovely things, especially the wedding party that mum and dad speak so fondly of.. Wonder why we weren't invited to the party???

Love Amelia & Zach

p.s. Saturday was also Nan & Pop's wedding anniversary, they have now been married for 45 years!!!! Hope you had a great day Nan & Pop..
