now that I'm 4

Aren't birthdays fun?? Today was my 4th birthday and I had SO much fun!!! not only did I get to open lots of presents in the morning but I then got to go to a birthday party for my friend Jayda, whose birthday is on the same day as me, and then to my friend Milla's house. Because it was my birthday lots and lots of people had gathered at Milla's house to party with me.... okay, you caught me out! They were also there to watch some football game on tv! After a big day I finally crept into bed at 9pm and dreamt about all of the special people that I had seen and played with for my birthday and of all the new toys and clothes that I was given.. They were lovely dreams!

nap time

When mum suggested an afternoon nap today I thought "great", another chance to sleep in my new bed. But, when I got in there I didn't actually feel very tired. So, I decided to hop out of bed (all by myself) and have a little play with my toys in my room. The thing was that I suddenly got quite tired playing with my toys and didn't quite have the energy to make it back into bed. So, I decided to just lay down and have a little rest next to my toys. Funny thing was that I woke up in my bed. Have I started sleep walking already?

After daddy nagging mum for months that I needed my hair cut, today we all took a trip to the hair dressers. After wandering around the toy and pet stores waiting for my turn I finally got to jump up in the hot seat! The lady put a big black superman cape on both mummy and me and then started spraying and snipping. Before too long it was all over and because I was such a good boy i got an ice-cream.

Today was a very very exciting day!! Firstly, we went shopping to get Amelia a new bed. Then on the way home we stopped at a great park in Kew where we got to play with both mum and dad. Then, when we got home we got to help Dad build Amelia's new bed and then (the most exciting bit of all) we moved Amelia's other bed into MY BEDROOM!! Can you believe it, I now have my own big bed.. I can't wait to try it out..

footy day

Today was footy day at kinder so after I brushed the dust off Daddy's tigers scarf away I went. We did all kinds of fun things like handball, face painting and making streamers. Unfortunately today was also the last day of kinder for a while : -( we now have 2 weeks kinder holidays. BUT in the kinder holidays it is my birthday!!! Only 9 more sleeps until I turn 4.

conquering fears

"CONQUERING"

Sure is a big word but apparently this is what I did when i decided that I wanted to have a ride on a pony at the Wallan market on the weekend. In fact I conquered my fears so well that I didn't want the ride to end! Mum told me that when Nanny was a little girl she used to ride ponies all the time and that she even let the ponies jump over things while she was on their back. Perhaps I will practice a little more before I encourage the pony to jump!

big boy stuff

not only do I now get to play with play doh but mum finally let me try some painting last week. Amelia and I went straight to work painting some lovely pictures (both on and off the paper) as well as adding some colour to myself every now and then!! For my first attempt I think that I did well. Can't wait until mum lets me loose with those paints again!!!

Daddys day on the beach

Not only did we get to spend Daddy's day with Daddy but we got to spend it at the beach AND with our special friends, Milla and AJ. We all had a great time picnicing in the park, building sandcastles, playing in the water and covering oursleves with as much sand as possible..

our new car

First Mummy got a new car, then the old car went away. Then, Daddy got a new car (that he sometimes wishes would also go away) SO, Zach and I then decided that it was our turn to get a new car.. Finally, our own big red car!!

Cousins

A couple of weeks ago we travelled to Ballarat and were luckily enough to spend some time with our favourite cousins.. Not only did we have a big play out at Bella and Eloise's house but we also got to have lunch at the lake (which now has some water in it - see below) and play in the park.
